"Rainy Day" by Blue Mountain from Midnight in Mississippi (2008)
The pioneering Alt-Country band Blue Mountain just broke up at the end of June of this year. They formed in 1993 and returned in 2007 after a six year hiatus. Rainy Day could only have been more perfect if it had been raining today.
"A Question" by Bombadil from All That The Rain Promises (2011)
Our third song of the day from this North Carolina band who are getting ready to release their new album later this month. This one comes from their previous studio full-length. The song is about the sweetest, cutest song I've heard in a long time.
"Are You Sure You Don't Want to Hang Out?" by The Great American Novel from Kissing (2012)
Somehow I think Layne Montgomery is writing songs about my young adult life. We continue to await the new The Great American Novel record. We have a couple of tracks from the new album in our queue and are just waiting for the shuffle gods to pull them up.
"Ragtime Annie" by Katerine Moller from By Request (2010)
From our Twitter Account to you in a matter of hours. Katherine Moller is a Celtic Folk Fiddle player. She is offering a five track fan pack for signing up for her Fanbridge account. I love Celtic folk music - among the many other types of music I love.
