Tuesday Morning Music Shuffle - Keep on Wailin' Mix

Here we go... it seems like I've been adding more songs every week then I have time to feature. So to help clear the backlog and to feature more songs - I'm going to add a Bonus Mix feature.  And, just like it's better to eat dessert first, so it is better to present the Bonus Mix first...

It all gets going after the leap (jump):......

Bonus Mix:  (where possible I've added these tracks to the Video playlist and to the weekly store, however, I'm not including other details - so please google and check out these songs)

"Don't You Know" by Elephant Stone   "Ride and Sway" by The Greencards  "5 Leaf" by The Westies     "Lake Motel Blues" by Adam Hill     "Stomp" by The Stone Foxes    "Got It Wrong Now" by Umbrella Bed    "Stop Me Still" by Humming House    "Hang Onto Yourself" by David Bowie    "You Can Have the Crown" by Sturgill Simpson     "Elvis and the Electric Hound Dog" by Darrin Bradbury     "Because I Do" by X     "Hell's Kitchen" by The Westies   "Let's Make a Christmas Memory" by Annie Sellick (album is out now!)    "Don't Play With Guns" by The Black Angels

Here's today's Official Mix:

"Into the Great Wide Open" by Elephant Stone (bonus cover of the Tom Petty hit. Trivia: back when I trolled used CD shops at least twice a week, I picked up the Tom Petty album used two weeks before it was officially released.  Aren't you glad you know that?  Elephant Stone are pretty cool - check them out.)

"Keep on Wailin'" by Miss Shevaughn and Yuma Wray (from Live @ DC9.  I am so glad I had the chance to meet and later hear Miss Shevaughn and Yuma Wray play live.  If you get the chance, I highly recommend it.  I think they've wrapped up their most recent tour and I'm expecting a new album in 2014.  Can't wait.  And in case your wondering, Miss Shevaughn can play some pretty mean guitar.)

"My Happy" by Lindsay Katt (from Picking Out Boxes. A singer/songwriter from NYC. My first listen. Check her out)

"Hand and Foot, Heart and Soul" by Swear and Shake (from Maple Ridge.  Folk with Indie Creds from NYC.  Lots of "ands" and a helluva cool song.)

"Down in the Tube Station at Midnight" by the Jam (from All Mod Cons.  This album!  This band! Paul Weller!  This song!)

"Lollygagging" by Less Love (from Paradigms in the Design.  Less Love are a rock band from Oklahoma. At this point, I can't remember how they came to my attention. It seems like somebody mentioned them.  In any event, I did find them, and I like them. So there.  UPDATE:  Thanks Gina Sigillito for introducing me to Less Love.  Gina works with MAKAR who are long time friends of the blog, and Gina is a good friend of the blog, too.  Sorry I couldn't remember and thanks for reminding me!)
