Featured Friday Morning Shuffle - More Fish Than You Mix

Be sure to "Like" Ear to the Ground on Facebook!

Running short on time... Another awesome Nashville night of music.  First Allen Thompson and Brian Ritchey (backed by Sheriff Scott and the Deputies closing out Ritchey's month-long residency at The 5 Spot.  Then, it was off to the American Legion in Inglewood for Microwave Mountain (who proved worthy of the buzz they have been generating here in Nashville) and Buck N' Stuff (who closed out their own month-long residency in fine style).

Featured Friday is here and as I said, time is short... let's go!

"Fishin' Blues" by Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal with a track from his Labor of Love album which was released in conjunction with Music Maker Relief Foundation toward the end of 2016. So good.

"Body Woods" by Magpie Thief

"Offshore" by Josh Hyde

From his forthcoming The Call of the Night which is due out in February.  Hyde is a Louisiana singer songwriter.

"Push Me Away" by Corey Ledet and His Zydeco Band

"Less Than Royalty" by Tim Lee 3

Next another good one from Tin, Man - the latest album from our good friends, Tim Lee 3 who are on hiatus under the TL3 moniker.  Look for tours and music from the BARK duo project as the year unfolds.

"Last September" by A Crash Republic

Finally we close things out right with another first listen - this is from A Crash Republic who are from Boston/NYC.  Really cool pop punk/ punk music from a 4 sog demo collection released last year.
