*******************************************************************************

Last night a distinctly Nashville show - Amelia White, Sally Jaye, and Megan Palmer in a collaborative round backed by the awesome Sergio Webb.   A fun hang with lots of friendly faces.

Back to the "New Music" shuffle...  Let's do it!

"The Universe" by Lesley Kernochan

First up is a lovely song from A Calm Sun - the latest album from L.A. singer-songwriter Lesley Kernochan.  She previously released an award winning children's album.  She also is known to do comedy.  A Calm Sun features musical contributions from a stellar cast of support musicians.

"Bluedive" by Electric Floor

Next up, we have a new band to E2TG - adding to our Italian subset of E2TG artists. Electric Floor are from Cosenza. This is the opening track from their recent EP FADER.  The music is shoegaze/synthpop

"Fighting Words" by The End Men

Next up, some fighting words from the latest release  (Heavy Seas) by 2013 Band of the Year The End Men. They are in the midst of a long European tour right now.

"Hillbilly Shit" by Clark Paterson

Next up, East Nashville's own Clark Paterson with a song from his excellent The Final Tradition album.

"A Way Long Time Ago, Cars Looked Like This" by Discount Ravioli

Next, we have another from Discount Ravioli from Baby Arm Sessions. A bright spot in any shuffle.

"Last Lesson" by Someday

I just realized today's shuffle has more Italian bands than it does Nashville artists. That's the thing about E2TG and our random shuffles - you never know what will happen, but it is all going to be good.  Someday are from Torino. This is a track from their album This Doesn't Exist which was released back in February on Seahorse Records.

"SOLO" by Ugggy (feat. knxwhere!)

And we close with a track from The Odditorium the latest release by Ugggy (of 2016 E2TG Band of the Year Valued Customer).  Released on October 1, it marked his eighth straight month of issuing a new release on the 1st. This track features knxwhere! and my search of who that is came up empty.
