"Everyone I Know" by Robert Gay and the Alarms (from How to Make a Memory - 2020)
Robert Gay - is perhaps best known in recent years for his trumpet playing with a variety of Nashville bands - most recently Lady Couch. He also fronts his own long-running band, and this is a track from their 2020 release.
"No Real Colour in Souls" by Pentral (from What Lies Ahead of Us - 2021)
Next up, we have another track from the 2021 released by this Brazilian progressive rock band.
"Pegged" by F. Scott and the Nighthawks (from Straight to Heaven - 2020)
We go back to 2020 and this EP from the Toronto based outlaw country band.
"Prayer for Salvation" by Mike Doussan (from Sin or Salvation - 2014)
An appropriate song for Ash Wednesday showed up randomly in the shuffle - from this New Orleans based singer-songwriter.
"Live Till We Die" by Chris Moyse (from Bitter Ballads & Cynical Prayers - 2019)
One of my favorite songs by East Nashville favorite Chris Moyse.
"Cosmic Wheel" by The Embyos (from National Absurdatory - 2021)
Next, we have a track from the October 2021 album by Chicago band The Embryos.
"Eastern Star" by Bhopal's Flowers (from Alstroemeria: A Journaey On Earth & Beyond - 2021)
Next up, we have a track from a gorgeous album from this Montreal based band who brings a variety of influences and styles to create a truly unique sound.
"The New Normal" by Christina LaRocca (single - 2021)
We close with a single from last summer, that word has it was begun prior to the pandemic despite how it might seem. In any case, a lovely way to close out the shuffle.
