Thursday Morning Music Shuffle - Beginning of the End Mix

A cold and misty rain here in Music City USA.  Reminder: Voting is heating up in our 2nd Annual Band of the Year poll. Right now, the Brooklyn band The Disappointment have jumped out into the lead. Sci-Romance, Skeletons in the Piano, The End Me, and Black Jake and the Carnies round out the top so far, but it's early and anything can happen.

Shuffle after the Jump:

One of R.E.M.'s best records, Automatic for the People, turned 20 this year.  Today we have Find the River which was the last single released from the album.

Vajra is a progressive rock band with Eastern influences based in  New York City. The band is lead by exotic and talented vocalist/keyboard player Annemaria Pinna and backed by an experienced group of Alt-Rock veterans. The band's debut record is called Pleroma and was released on the Summer Solstice. Now, just in time for the Winter Solstice, we bring you the lead track from the record called Inside the Flame

A beautiful seasonal favorite from Fleet Foxes self-titled Debut album called White Winter Hymnal.

We close out today's shuffle with the title track from Langhorne Slim and The Law's latest album The Way We Move. If you are not up to speed on the fabulous Langhorne Slim - the time has come to rectify that situation.  Start here:
