And we are back... It is officially the longest day of the year, and the beginning of summer. And unbelievably, the year is just about half way over.
Anyway, a fairly busy week ahead with some great shows, a pre-recording of Double Shot with Joe and Sue, and on Saturday, a live broadcast!
Today is Monday which is when we shuffle up songs from the Music City Monday playlist (songs by people who do or have lived in Nashville or who at least have some connection to the Music City.).

E2TG began in May 2011 on a wing and a prayer and on the now defunct website Posterous. Milestones and anniversaries are always a good time to look back and reflect, and as I do so, at the beginning of this anniversary month, the word that comes to my mind is gratitude. At the risk of being cheesy, it is almost inconceivable for me to think about how my life might be if I had never started Ear to the Ground. During some of my darkest times, this blog and more importantly the friends I have made and the people I have met because of E2TG have realty helped to keep me going.
So, I think through this month, I will take every appropriate opportunity to express that gratitude...

If trudging through the work week is like climbing a mountain, then my question has to be is Wednesday really the day we get over the hump or is it just a day that finds us clinging desperately to the sheer face of a rocky cliff and wondering how the hell we are going to make it the rest of the way? Food for thought... happy Wednesday!
