We start another week with another Music City Monday shuffle - featuring a random shuffle from our extensive Music City Monday playlist. Enjoy!
Featured Friday Playlist
Chicago based Progressive, instrumental band with the lead track from their new album.
From the new album. Hope, whose title took on new meaning in the wake of Hurricane Ida. Louise Cappi is based in New Orleans.
Single from the forthcoming debut solo album by the Glascow music legend.
Austin Texas singer-songwriter Jesse Dayton with a cover of the X song.
Michigan's Matthew James Adkins returns to the playlist with a track from his just released album Stoned on My Own.
Next up, the latest single from the UK-based singer-songwriter.
And finally, Nick Hudson (who E2TG may know from Academy of Sun) just released his new EP K69996roma, and we have the lead and sort of title track to close out this segment of the Playlist.
First up, we have a recent single and track from the new album by Irish indie legend Cathal Coughlan (Microdisney, The Fatima Mansions). A stirring track and a great way to start out this Wednesday.
Next up, we have the lovely lead track from the new 3-song single from Nick Hudson (The Academy of Sun). The principal song is called "Come Back When There's Nothing Left". The third track on the single is a cover of Oingo Boingo's "Not My Slave".
Next up, we have the brief and atypical lead track from El Toledano by this hard rock band from Madrid. The band has a really interesting sound that combines a variety of influences into something unique. As I said, there are probably more typical examples of the band's sound - although they are very diverse - but this lovely piece caught my ear late on the Thursday night I was putting the Playlist together.
Next up, some delicious indie pop confection from Montreal based band - the latest single from their forthcoming Relationship Status EP. Great stuff.
Next up, Norwegian band Remington Super 60 return to E2TG with the lead track from their recent album Nouvelle Nouveau. A great opportunity to reconnect with this band - we first featured last year.
And finally, we close out this segment of music with a lovely new single from this UK folk-pop band. A wonderful way to prepare out way to finish off our recap tomorrow.
Featured Friday Playlist
We start with a track from Murder Ballad and the Blue a AA single from Melbourne based trio Mantis & the Prayer. The band released their first album in 2016. This was my first exposure to them, and I was impressed. Cool stuff.
Next up, we previously featured a single from UK artist Gold Hick. Now, the album Formed At Depth is out. When I first featured Gold Hick, I was unaware that he is a part of the band Broads who we featured heavily in recent years. I am glad that, even though I didn't realize that connection, I connected with this artist. Really interesting music.
We have featured several tracks by L.A. based post punk artist The Sea at Midnight - which is the project of singer-songwriter Vince Grant. This is the latest single and a great song.
Andy Hill is an electronic music artist who divides his time between L.A. and the UK. This is the title track from the new EP, and a wonderful way to close out this Playlist!

ASM are back again this week - with another track from their Blue Cocoon album on Chinese Man Records. I dig this one a whole lot.
Next up, we have a track from Ohio based shoegaze/dream pop band XL427 featuring Andy Ingram who is also the head of Dayton based Poptek Records. This remix is handled by KC based darkwave band Mensa Deathsquad. A great collaboration.
We close out this Playlist with the debut single from Manchester band All Night Dining - who released Butterfly earlier this year. The single was delayed due to COVID-19 and like so many bands and artists we know - the virus slowed the momentum but did not slow the drive of this up and coming band.
