I'm going to pick up the Featured Friday Playlist recap tomorrow - because this week's list was shorter than usual, and because I forgot to write it last night...

Some good news from the Supreme Court today regarding LGBT+ rights.  I understand that there was some bad news on another front, but I have not had time to dive into that so I won't comment and just celebrate a victory for human rights.

"Since You've Come Around" by Jen Starsinic (from The Flood and the Fire)

We have been talking about Jen Starsinic's new album Bad Actor, but this one goes back to her previous release. One of my favorite songwriters.

"Watcher" by Daryl Wayne Dasher (from Reinkarmation)

Latest album (I think) from long-time Nashville singer-songwriter Daryl Wayne Dasher. 

"Green Beans and Taters" by Tim Krekel (from World Keeps Turnin')

The late, great Tim Krekel wrote a couple of songs that Jason & the Scorchers made famous. Tim was a native of Kentucky native and returned there after his time in Nashville, but he remains linked to Music City.  The first album by his old band The Sluggers was the first album produced by Tony Brown.

"Taking Care of Dreamers" by Tomi Lunsford (from Come On Blue)

Speaking of local fixtures. Tomi Lunsford comes from a rich musical heritage, and she is an important part of Nashville's music community

"Johnnybag the Superglue" by Jake La Botz (from They're Coming for Me)

The latest release from singer-songwriter and actor Jake La Botz.  We covered his previous release pretty thoroughly here at E2TG. 

"The Drip" by Sad Baxter (from Weirdy)

And, we close things out today with another track from Sad Baxter. The shuffle has been bringing up their music on a regular basis, and I am happy about that.
