Okay - a combination of things: Americana, work, lack of sleep, mood - forced me to kind of punt on the blog for the end of last week.

1. "Bloodlight" by Palm Ghosts
A new single from the red hot Nashville post punk band Palm Ghosts.
2. "The Grand Design" by Mark Allen & John Rodrigue
Next, the title and lead track from this new album from Nashville based producer, engineer, and musician Mark Allen and drummer John Rodrique who has turned us on to a lot of great music including EG Vines.
3. "Against the Wall" by Mabilene
I recently reconnected with Mabilene (formerly of the band The Battlefield) when she sang bgvs with Don Gallardo at his album release show. She has a new album coming and this is the first taste of it
4. "A Tale or Two to Tell" by Lori Kelley
Long-time E2TG favorite Lori Kelley is working on a new Hobbitt themed EP - and this is the first single from that project. She co-wrote this song with her sister Michelle Nielson.
5. "Good at Gone" by Andrew Leahey & the Homestead
Next, a new single from E2TG favorite Andrew Leahey.
6. "Late Night (Don't Judge Me)" by Mark Fredson
Long-time East Nashville favorite Mark Fredson has a long-anticipated new single. Fredson - co-wrote "Long Time Thinkin'" with Allen Thompson which continues a t-shirt worthy line which I happen to have on a t-shirt.
7. "Never Lie to You" by Jon Worthy
E2TG favorite Jon Worthy has been knocking it out of the part lately with some fantastic live sets on big stages. He has a new single out now.
8. "Out Here in Echo Park" by Rod Gator
The artist formerly known as Rod Cougar Me... no wait, Rod Melancon - recently released his For Louisiana album. This is a track from that album by the Austin-based, Louisiana native.
9. "Flowing Around the Tut" by Ed Toft (Tipi Valley)
Tipi Valley (aka Ed Toft) of Wales, has been a part of the E2TG family since the early days of the blog. His music is about as eclectic as E2TG itself - this new release Meditations & Mumbles is chill natural inspired sounds.
10. "Cordilleras" by Beyond the Seasons
The jazz project of Georg Nielsen aka Jon Magnusson with a new single.
11. "found the back of the tv remote" by elkyn
We were introduced to Leeds based singer-songwriter elkyn early in the pandemic last year with his release Beech. This is the new single, and I am digging it.
12. "Tell Tale Heart" by Avey Grouws Band
Next, we have the title track from the new album by this Iowa-based American roots band.
13. "Is This My America?" by Jai Agnish
New Jersey based Jai Agnish with a power message song to the country of his birth.
14. "8th of January" by Nora Brown
And we close out this segment with a track from the new album, Sidetrack My Engine by 15 year old, New York based roots music phenom.
