I am back after taking a couple of days off. In order to get back on track, we will skip the shuffle today and jump right into the Featured Friday Playlist recap (below the jump).

1. "It's Okay (Bonus Track)" by Stuffy Shmitt
Stuffy Shmitt - just released the Deluxe edition of his 2020 album Stuff Happens - called More Stuff Happens. This edition features four additional songs- including this new version of the lead track from the original album.
2. "Future Looks Fine (Radio Edit)" by LadyCouch
I have been looking forward to the release of the debut album from LadyCouch since the first time I saw the band. The Future Looks Fine is out now, and you can and should get on that.
3. "Revolver in the Field" by Daryl Wayne Dasher
I first say Daryl Wayne Dasher - I believe - a songwriters night at the old Bobby's Idle Hour back a few years ago. I have been a fan ever since, and I am excited about his new album Honky Tonk Ways.
4. "Now Forever" by Matthew Paige
Next up, a new single from DeeOhGee's own Matthew Paige. Look for new DeeOhGee music later this week.
5. "Lille Katt" by Georg Neilsen
Our old friend, Jon Magnusson just released a new single under his Georg Neilsen moniker. Another lovely instrumental - this one inspired by a children's book.
6. "Lullaby of Loathing" by Buick Audra
Buick Audra is 1/2 of the Nashville duo, Friendship Commander. This new single from a forthcoming album represents the first solo music for her since 2011.
7. "Hobo's Way" by Eric Brace, Rory Hoffman, Jim Gray, Martin Lynds
The great Nashville songwriter Eric Brace has been releasing some new music based upon the music of the 1930s. This latest single features multi-instrumentalist Rory Hoffman, drummer Martin Lynds, and bassist Jim Gray (the latter two make up the rhythm section of Brace's band Last Train Home.
8. "Been" by Lilly Hiatt
A great new song (ahead of a new album) from the one and only Lilly Hiatt.
9. "I Need You Now" by Ajay Mathur
Ajay Mathur returns to E2TG. The singer-songwriter who born in India and who is based in Switzerland, is a true citizen of the world, and his music represents that outlook - combining music from his homeland with more western pop and even Americana influences.
10. "Pelican" by Air Cool Jenny
Next up, we have a track from the debut release by L.A. based duo Air Cool Jenny (Helen Rose and Kramer Sanguinetti).
11. "The Very Day I'm Gone" by Nora Brown
Nora Brown is a 15 year old Appalachian folk phenom - and this is the first single from her new album Sidetrack My Engine
12. "is this better than the last time?" by VOTEFORSAMMO
Cheaper Entertainment - the debut EP by 19 year old UK singer-songwriter VOTEFORSAMMO is out now.
13. "Have You Tried Jesus" by Little Willie & The Fantastic Spiritualaires
Next up, we have the first single from an upcoming compilation from Bible & Tire Records called Sacred Soul of North Carolina. The release also includes a documentary.
14. "Traveling Lady" by The Cookers
Next up, we have a single from Look Out! The forthcoming album from forward-thinking jazz supergroup - The Cookers.
15. "Moll & Zeis" by David Long & Shane O'Neill
And we close with the title track from the new album by Irish indie rock/post-punk icons David Long and Shane O'Neill.
