We reached the mid-point of the week. Last night, I made it out to Dee's for the latest edition of Darrin Bradbury's on-going songwriter's night - this week featured Alec Lang (who is pretty new to town and who I enjoyed), Angela Autumn (who was fantastic), and the always great Chelsea Lovitt. Plus Darrin and Irakli Gabriel who played a fun, loose set.
Then, I headed over to The 5 Spot to catch the latest Swill TV - Live show - featuring the 9th episode of the music video series. The live show featured performances by Caleb Hayden Christopher - a bartender at The 5 Spot making his stage debut at the venue - his songs were great and his stage presence was fantastic, Sophie and the Broken Things - who I caught one year ago on a livestream and who I have played on the radio. Sophie's band included the multi-talented Dave Coleman and drummer Lemmy Hayes (Buck 'N' Stuff), and long-time E2TG favorite Tom Schreck with rare appearance of his band Tom Schreck Escapes!
Tomorrow - catch the next edition of Greetings from Nashville - with a collection of songs that seem to fit the Halloween season.

First up, from the end of July, we have a track from Phoenix based artist FLDPLN - which is Andrew Saks (of Sway).

Next, we have another 2020 release - this from Nashville based singer-songwriter Graham Bramblett. We featured "Tom T. Hall T-Shirt" from the album last year.
"For Madmen Only" by Sammy Boller (from Kingdom of the Sun - 2020)
Next, some instrumental hard rock from Detroit - which came to us at the beginning of 2020.
"Rupture V" by Cellista (from Transfigurations - 2019)
Next, we have the fifth of five "Rupture" tracks from the 2019 release from this San Jose, California based avant artist.
"Clarity" by Pacific (single - 2019)
Pacific is a piano-driven indie band for Northwich, UK. This is a single released early in 2019.
"Dyson Sphere" by Joy Cleaner (from You're So Jaded - 2019)
Staying in 2019, we have a track from the New Jersey indierock band that we featured in the before times.
"Coyote" by Miss Shevaughn & Yuma Wray (from Lean Into the Wind - 2014)
Much has happened in the seven years since this album was released. We first were introduced to Miss Shevaughn and Yuma Wray through Couch by Couchwest. They made a few trips through Nashville. The later became FuzzQueen and we had them as our guests as an E2TG Residency show a few years back. Since then, there has been a personal and professional split, but our fond memories of this music live on.
