Excited to start of this week's Featured Friday Playlist with a brand new song from E2TG favorite Andrew Adkins. The Nashville singer-songwriter will be releasing his new album The Echoist on November 13, and this is our first taste of that album. Check out the powerful video for "Vagabond Shoes".

Featured Friday Playlist (Songs 2-8)
2. "Shallow Graves" by India Ramey
I have been looking forward to this day, since the India Ramey Residency at The 5 Spot (a million years ago or earlier this year - who knows?). Shallow Graves - the album - is officially out, and today, we have the title track in our playlist.
3. "Who I Am" by Jon Worthy; Kiki Halliday
Jon Worthy is back with another song - this one is a duet is singer-songwriter Kiki Halliday who is from Los Angeles but currently based in Nashville. Sounds great.
4. "Many Moons" by Jeremy Squires
Next up, we have the title track from the recently released album by North Carolina based singer-songwriter Jeremy Squires. This is a fantastic sounding record.
5. "Box #10" by Tayls; Whoa Dakota
Tayls is back with another cover - this time it is a Jim Croce song - and it is also another collaboration. This time it is Woah Dakota - the Nashville based indie-pop artist (Jesse Ott). The original was on the 1972 album You Don't Mess Around with Jim. Fun Fact: Darrin Bradbury used to do the title track from that Croce album during his Wednesday night Fran's gigs back in the day.
6. "Do You Hear Me Now?" by Trent Agecoutay
Alberta-based singer-songwriter Trent Agecoutay returns to E2TG with his timely and important new single. We covered his Now... And Then album back in 2018. Agecoutay's music generally falls in the folk/country category and the lyrics generally draws from the experience of his fellow First Nations/indigenous individuals. The new shines a light on the systemic issues involving police officers and all people of color - including those from indigenous populations.
7. "B-Movie" by Buildings and Food
Keeping it in Canada (Toronto this time) and another returning E2TG favorite- we have the new single from Buildings and Food which is an electronic music project of Jen K. Wilson. Great to reconnect with this wonderful artists.
8. "7 on Up" by Soft Set
And, we close out this segment of music with another Toronto based project - Soft Set is a duo featuring life-long friends James Gray and Nathan Athay. It is a pre-album single from the Love and Dancing EP which was released today. We have featured Soft Set before - recently, and it is great to hear this new EP.
