A bit short on time today - so we will jump right in...
Today, our recap of this week's Playlist continues with songs 17-21:
17. "Let Me Tell You What I Think" by Ordinary Elephant
Starting off today, we have a brand new single from Houston, Texas based, husband and wife folk duo Ordinary Elephant. This is a thoughtful and nuanced song of our times. Really fantastic.
18. "Culture War" by Paul Maged
More timely music - albeit of a different variety - via New York Alt-Rock singer-songwriter Paul Maged. We have featured his music before, and we probably will again. This is the title track from his new album.
19. "Love in Quarantine" by New Way Vendetta
Next up, we have yet another timely track - this of the goth/dance variety via the long-running New Way Vendetta. Stellar stuff.
20. "Partypooper" by HMS Morris
I believe this is our second time featuring Welsh band HMS Morris in a Playlist. It is really catchy pop music of the best variety.
21. "You've Got Another Thing Coming" by Beyond the Grey
And, we close out this segment of music with a really tasty Judas Priest cover from this band who are based in Kansas City. A nice addition to the Playlist.

"Enough is Enough" by Loud Apartment (from System Breakdown 2020)
We start off the shuffle with another track from the new album by NYC funk/fusion band Loud Apartment (we featured another track in the Playlist yesterday).
"Mourning Commute" by Brian Wright & the SneakUps (from Lapse of Luxury 2020)
Earlier this year, Cafe Rooster co-founder Brian Wright released the debut by his new (all-star East Nashville) band The Sneak-ups. One of my favorite releases of the year - with so many amazing people backing up one-time E2TG Artist of the Year Brian Wright.
"Do You Hear Me Now?" by Trent Agecoutay (single 2020)
A topical new single from an E2TG favorite - Trent Agecoutay is a First Nations artist from Canada. The song deals head on with the issue of systemic racism and police violence - particularly against Black and Brown people. After months of protests, it remains one of the most pressing issues of our time.
"Peace Love and Understanding" by The Revenue Man (from 25 Years Behind 2020)
Nashville's Glenn Brown (aka The Revenue Man) released his awesome 25 Years Behind album in early March. I believe I have featured some music from it before, but with the tornado and the pandemic - it is great to be reminded of the album and this great cover of the Nick Lowe penned song - made famous by Elvis Costello.
"Nothing is Real" by Stuffy Shmitt (from Nothing is Real 2001)
We are now less than a month away from the release of Stuffy's new album Stuff Happens (out December 4), but today, we go back almost a decade to one of my all-time favorite Stuffy songs - the title track from his 2001 album.
