Quick post today. This week's Featured Friday Playlist is a little shorter than it has been in recent weeks. Partially due to the holiday and partially due to me being behind.

Featured Friday Playlist
"Sunday Women" by Aaron Lee Tasjan
The second single from the forthcoming Tasjan! Tasjan! Tasjan! is a tasty bit of psychedelic pop that would not have sounded out of place coming out of the paisley underground of the 1980s. Tasjan's ability to move seemingly without effort between sounds and genres is one of his hallmarks, and to me proof that he has a long career ahead.
"Make a Mess" by Microwave Mountain
Next, we have yet another new single from our friend Microwave Mountain - who tore it up at last year's E2TG Residency. One of the best and most respected bands around the Nashville music community.
"Meat Sweatz" by Ghost Town Remedy
Next up, we have another track from the new album - Dry Spell - from E2TG favorite Ghost Town Remedy. One of the funnest Nashville bands.
"Freedom" by Illiterate Light; Devon Gilfillian
Next we have the incredible new collaborative single between Virginia based Illiterate Light, and Grammy nominated Nashville singer-songwriter Devon Gilfillian.
"On and On - Rah Band Remix" by Fyütch, Morgan Bosman, Rah Band
Nashville's own Morgan Bosman returns to the playlist with a remix of her collaboration with former Nashville resident (now New York based) music and social justice artist who uses rap and spoken word to deliver his message.
"DARK CASTLE" by FŪÑ ŻØÑË®
Next up, we have some dark, industrial, noise rock from Kansas City. This band features someone I have been following on Instagram for a few years, and I have been digging the music. It is finally on Spotify but you should definitely find them on Bandcamp and own this record.
"Reflection" by Josh Halper
And, we close with a lovely instrumental and the second single from the forthcoming album by Nashville artist and fellow WXNA DJ Josh Halper.
