It seems like to a good time to post my regular disclaimer.
I like the Playlist feature of Spotify, and I like having access to so much great music - as I have downsized in my life things like that are handy.
But, and it's a big but, Spotify is abysmal when it comes to fairly compensating artists. So, yes, please check out the Playlist, AND if you hear an artist/album/song you like - go purchase it or go support the artist in some other way - buy, merch, contribute to a fundraiser for an album, see a show (and tip).

"I'm Catholic Again" by Mr. MPH (from Mr. MPH - 2022)
The duo of Ryan Sobb and Preston Cochran recorded this 13 songs in just under 15 minutes album last year during lockdowns. We've featured a couple of the songs when they were released as single. Nice to have this whole collection.
"Tiny Fires" by Jason Erie (single - 2022)
Jason Erie delivers the first single (and the title track) from his forthcoming new album. I could not be more excited to hear this new music.
"Big Heart Sick Mind" by The Whitmore Sisters (from Ghost Stories - 2022)
The debut album by Bonnie and Elinor Whitmore is out, and it is wonderful.
"Low Side" by Zach Wilson (from Priors - 2022)
The new album from singer-songwriter Zach Wilson is out on Devil's Tower Records.
"Never Forget" by Lee Oskar (from Passages Through Music: Never Forget - 2022)
Harmonica master (War) who has his own signature line of harmonicas - just released his stunning new album. Oskar is currently based out of Washington State.
"Hearts That Hold Forever" by Glass Cabin (single - 2022)
The Nashville duo Glass Cabin released their debut album in 2021, and they are starting 2022 with a brand new single.
"Find My Way" by Julie Christensen (from 11 from Kevin: Songs of Kevin Gordon - 2022)
We have another track from Julie Christensen's great collection of Kevin Gordon songs. This track - which was on Gordon's 2005 album O Come Look at the Burning - was co-written by Gordon and my fellow WXNA DJ Gwil Owen.
"Tom Tom" by The Long Ryders (single - 2022)
This new song - was written and recorded remotely by this pioneering L.A. band from the paisley underground scene. It is a tribute to Tom Stevens - a long-time bass player with the band who passed away last year.
"Oceans" by The Sea at Midnight (from Oceans EP - 2022)
L.A. dark indie band led by Vince Grant - have a new EP and this is the title track.
"Near Me" by 1st Base Runner (from Ellis EP - 2021)
We go back to 2021 and this new EP from Austin based band 1st Base Runner. Cool stuff.
"Mr Weak" by Matteo Palermo & Vitriol Project (single - 2022)
Next up, we have the latest from Italian singer-songwriter Matteo Palmero and the debut single from Vitriol Project.
"I Can Tell By the Way You Dance (You're Gonna Love Me Tonight)" by Rodney Collins (single- 2022)
Next up, some traditional country music from a veteran musician and venue owner who is currently touring with Ronnie McDowell.
"Bloody Shores" by Datura (from Arcano Chemical - 2022)
Next up, a new release from the Pacific Northwest based post-punk trio Datura.
"All Rise, the Sneaky Snakes of Kudzu" by Lolas (from All Rise - 2021)
And, we close with a new single from an album released late in 2021 by Birmingham, Alabama based Lolas. A great tune to close out this short playlist.
