Today, we wrap up our look back at 2021.  Ended up with just over two hours of songs I identified as favorites that I wasn't able to feature either here or on the radio as part of the year end wrap up.  Tomorrow, the first new Featured Friday Playlist of 2022.

    Featured Friday Playlist

One final look back at 2021 Faves

"You Can Go to Hell, I'm Going to Texas" by Ted Russell Kamp (from Solitaire - 2021)
Ted Russell Kamp also released an album as part of a new super-trio called Stash. This was his solo album released back in May.
"Nite Vibes" by Joey Joesph (from Nite Vibes - 2021)
The groovy title track from the Cincinnati based songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist.
"Forever is a Long Time" by Rayvon Pettis (single - 2021)
Rayvon Pettis was an E2TG artist of the year a few years back.  He remains a favorite around her. This is a single he released back in August.
"Now Forever" by Matthew Paige (single - 2021)
The first of two 2021 singles from the lead singer and guitarist of DeeOhGee.
"What You Don't Know" by Victims of the New Math (single - 2021)
Phoenix, Arizona based Victims of the New Math - which is the recording project of Thomas Young with a single from back in July.
"I Started Building" by Microwave Mountain (single - 2021)
E2TG favorites Microwave Mountain released 5 singles and videos in 5 days back in October.  This was the first.

"Where You Belong" by Rory D'Lasnow (from Songs From An Empty Room - 2021)
We got to know New Jersey singer-songwriter Rory D'Lasnow in 2021, and he released this EP in September - which I think was his debut EP.
"Blockbuster Blues" by Griffin Winton (single - 2021)
Nashville singer-songwriter Griffin Winton is part of E2TG band of the year, the Big Dumb.  In 2021, he released four solo singles - this was the second from back in April.
"Better Way" by The Wild West (single - 2021)
Six remarkable California singer-songwriters (all female) released this single back in February.  I got to see them perform at Americana fest. Tawny Ellis and Amilia K. Spicer had previously been featured on E2TG.  They were joined by Pi Jacobs, Heather Anne Lomax, Deb Morrison, and Manda Mosher.
"Last Call" by Nick Nace (single - 2021)
And we wrap up our year-end review with an April single from Nashville-based Canadian-Americana singer-songwriter Nick Nace - who played an E2TG anniversary event a few years back.
