"A Tale or Two to Tell" by Lori Kelley (single - 2021)
Long-time E2TG favorite released this single as the first taste of a proposed J.R.R. Tolkien inspired EP.
"Sleeping on the Wet Spot (Bonus Track)" by Stuffy Shmitt (from More Stuff Happens - 2021)
E2TG favorite Stuffy Shmitt released a deluxe edition of his 2020 album Stuff Happens, and this is one of the bonus tracks.
"The Middle" by Dan Friese (from Somewhere Brighter - 2021)
Next, we have a track from the album released in October by Oregon based singer-songwriter Dan Friese.
"Revolver in the Field" by Daryl Wayne Dasher (from Honky Tonk Ways - 2021)
Nashville singer-songwriter Daryl Wayne Dasher from his excellent 2021 album.
"Balafo Douma" by N'famady Kouyate (single - 2021)
Next up, we have wonderful single from the Welsh based artist who is originally from Guinea Conakry. There was a lot of great and diverse music coming out of Wales in 2021.
"Face On the Rail Line" by The Catenary Wires (from Birling Gap - 2021)
UK band The Catenary Wires released the fantastic Birling Gap album this year. The band features members of another band we featured this year called Swansea Sound.
"Yellow" by Emma-Jean Thackray (from Yellow - 2021)
Next, we have the title track from the debut album by UK composer, producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist Emma-Jean Thackray.
"My Worries" by Tim McNary (from Loose Leaf - 2021)
Another long-time E2TG favorite, singer-songwriter Tim McNary released a new album in 2021. It is, as expected, very good.
"Glitter and the Gold" by ZOLA (single - 2021)
San Francisco based artist caught my attention with this excellent single released over the summer. Addressing the unhelpful advice many musicians (especially female musicians) receive.
"Bottom of the Pile" by Intergalatic Brasstronauts (from Music for the People - 2021)
And we close with one of our favorite instrumentals of the year - from a 12 piece brass band from Yorkshire that employs sci-fi themes to create post-modern brass band music.
