From the acclaimed PBS docu-series, we have the earliest known recording of the song that would become the Cajun standard Jolie Blond. Amadie Breaux was born in the rural community of Robert's Cove where my grandfather had a farm, and where I have family living to this day.

Next up, we have the title track from the 2020 release by Covington, Louisiana band The Junior League. This album boasts guest spots by Scott McCaughey, Peter Buck, Susan Cowsill, Peter Searcy, and Casey McAllister (Langhorn Slim's band).

This is actually the final track we have to feature from this album that we covered pretty heavily back in 2019 (does anyone remember 2019?). Dylan Rodrique is a singer-songwriter from LA.

One of our favorite albums of 2021 came from Nashville singer-songwriter Georgia English. It is an first-of-its-kind illustrated album.
