BIO (via Artist Website)
Where most vocalists in and around Nashville will site their beginnings chicken pickin' a guitar and singing Johnny Cash classics - Chris Douglas Keller was fronting a local based all male pop group (sometimes referred to as a boy band). He payed the bills while attending college as a church pianist, and post-graduation began vocal coaching alongside Brett Manning (Taylor Swift, Hayley Williams). To further his vocal journey, Chris began singing with various rock and pop projects and pursuing a coaching opportunity landed in New York City for a stent.
The sudden loss of his brother Geoffrey Warren Keller brought him back home to Pekin, IL. Using an acoustic guitar as a primary coping mechanism, Keller began to write songs that lent themselves to a more country americana genre. Alongside friend and producer, Nick Bullock, he started in on what would be his first solo studio endeavor. Chris will share his stories of love, loss, adventure, and tragedy under the moniker Douglas/Warren with an EP and Tour slated for fall of 2016. For more information visit douglaswarrenmusic.com
