Well, we are square in the middle of another week in quarantine. I haven't left my apartment since Friday around this time - when I went to pick up groceries. Haven't really seen anyone in person - except the grocery person through my car window in a week and a half. My work is into a routine - with some busy days and some not as busy - like normal.  Some things take longer at home.

I heard some excellent unreleased music last night - some creative work from before and during this time.

Working on some creative things of my own - slowly.

My Greetings from Nashville radio show will be on the air tomorrow. I will be playing Nashville music that spans about 34 years - from friends and favorites.

A fairly random selection today, but kind of fun, and some great music...

"Soundtrack to My Life" by Risa Hall (from Love is Telepathic)

A 2016 single from the great-niece of Estee Lauder and who attended Forest Hills High School in New York with The Ramones. She was living in Manchester as of 2016 and as far as I can tell she still is. Cool pop sounds.

"Blind Brothers" by Ryan Dillaha (from Closer to Better)

Fairly recent album by singer-songwriter from Michigan. Leads The Miracle Men who formed in Detroit in 2012. I like this song a whole lot. 

"Lie Beg Borrow and Steal" by John Rey Reed (from Learnin' to Drive the Truck)

Nashville by way of Austin singer-songwriter.  Bluesy sound and heartfelt songs. I dig it. I met him at a Christmas party last year (2018). 

"Slow Learner" by Tom Savage (from Great Beyond)

An October 2019 album and a direct submission from the artist who is based in Toronto.  He connected to me from my writing about Brock Zeman. I am digging this album. 

"My Medicine" by The Raindoggs (from One Armed Bandits)

From the E2TG archives - a Snoop Dogg cover by The Raindoggs - from 2012 - the very beginnings of E2TG.  The Austin band featured various lead singers during the time I covered them.  Larisa Montanaro led the band at the time of this album. They also recorded this song with Kassy Key - and to be honest, I am not 100% sure which version I listened to. The video features Larisa.
