I'm a little under the (nasty) weather - so apologies for the late and rather minimalistic post...
Our Featured Friday Recap rolls on with songs #21-25...
21. "Chasing Highs" by Griff Clawson
First up, we have the debut single from L.A. based singer/songwriter Griff Clawson - who has contributed vocals to tracks by ARTY, Matoma, Devault, Manilla Killa and Boombox Cartel.
22. "Revolution Son" by Shiva and the Hazards
Next up, we have a really cool single from Australian rock band Shiva and the Hazards. The song was produced by the band and mixed by Mark Gardener of RIDE. It sounds fantastic.
23. "Are You Listening?" by Lera Lynn
Next, we have a track from the brand new album by Nashville singer-songwriter Lera Lynn. Lynn wrote, performed, produced, and recorded the album on her own. It is appropriately called On My Own. Check it out. I first became aware of Lera Lynn via the segment she filmed for Songcraft Presents premiere Songs of the Road feature which featured our friend Ben Arthur and which was directed and edited by our friend Matthew Hendershot, and which was directed by Rob Reinhart.
24. "Golden Repair" by Sunstack Jones
Next, we have the title track from the fourth album by UK band Sunstack Jones - this is a gorgeous sounding record. Definitely check it out.
25. "I Never Want To Leave" by The Luxembourg Signal
And we close out this segment of music with the lead track from the third studio album by dreampop/shoegaze supergroup The Luxembourg signal - the band is transatlantic with members calling L.A., San Diego, and London home. A nice way to close this penultimate recap segment of this week's Playlist.

"Old Copper Penny" by RB Morris (from Going Back to the Sky 2019/2020)
RB Morris is a poet and songwriter - who was the official poet laureate of Knoxville. As a songwriter and musician he was part of the revitalization of Lower Broadway in Nashville in the 1990s. His most recent album, if my memory is correct, collected songs written over his long career. It is, as one might expect, excellent.
"My Heart is Good" by Mark Cline Bates (from King of the Crows 2019)
One of our favorite albums from 2019 was King of Crows by Mark Cline Bates of West Virginia. This song contains the title line to the album. I got to meet him at a $2 Tuesday some time back when he was in town working with another E2TG favorite, Clark Paterson.
"Find the Beauty" by James Tomberlin (from Still Life with Orange 2015)
James Tomberlin has to date only made one album (with Josh Morris - while they both lived in Nashville), and although James is off of social media and presumably busy being a lawyer (he left Nashville to complete law school), in his brief time, he was an important and respected part of the songwriting community. This song gets me every single time I hear it.
"Represent" by Asher Parkes (fear. Robert Jack) (from single 2017)
Next up, a 2017 single from Australian producer and singer/songwriter Asher Parkes. I believe we previously covered another single released around the same time.
"I'll Try" by Zografi Music (from Candlelight Blues 2019)
We have been covering the music of Nashville baded singer-songwriter Paul Zografi for some time. I was so excited when he teamed up with two of my favorite singer-songwriters Kiely Connell and Drew Kohl. Kiely's voice is one of my favorites, and it is wonderful to hear Zografi's songs performed by some of my favorite people.
