"Death Garage" by Peter Holsapple of The H Bombs (from Big Black Truck - 1978)
First up, we have some proto-dBs music from Peter Holsapple's short-lived college band. This EP was made with Mitch Easter and released on Chris Stamey's label Car Records.
"Below the Brine" by of1000faces (from Astromica - 2020)
Next up, we have a track from the 2020 release by of1000Faces (aka Matt Walker - known for his work with Morrissey, Smashing Pumpkins, and Garbage).
"Take Me Home, Country Roads" by Mary Hott (from Devil in the Hills - 2021)
Next up, we have our first listen to the stunning forthcoming album from Mary Hott. The album covers the long hidden stories of the men, women, and children who labored in the West Virginia mines. The album features seven original songs, plus interpretations of a miner's march, a Southern gospel hymn and this reinvention of the John Denver classic (which Denver wrote with Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert of the Starland Vocal Band). The album was co-produced by Don Dixon (making a coincidental connection to the first song in the shuffle).

Next up, we have a live track from the recently released album from E2TG Ashleigh Flynn and her band The Riveters. A wonderful live album.
