As I expected, after a week off, we have a 65 song 4+ hour Featured Friday Playlist - and it is jam-packed with great music. So, strap in... I have something in mind to get us through the next week, but as usual, we will start with the first segment - this time 15 songs - down below the jump.

Featured Friday Playlist
1. "Exile on Myrtle Beach" by Darrin Bradbury
One of my favorite Darrin Bradbury songs is made even better by this new recording from the forthcoming (August 20) album Artvertisement. The gang vocals and the Springsteenesque riffs are nice touches...
2. "Wild Horses" by Kristen Englenz
E2TG favorite Kristen Englenz with a lovely cover of The Rolling Stone's classic (from Sticky Fingers - released on the 50th Anniversary of the single release in 1971.
3. "Bad for Business" by Adrian + Meredith
E2TG faves Adrian + Meredith announced the release of their long-awaited new album due out August 20, and they just released the title track today.
4. "You Don't Really Know Me" by Tim Easton
Nashville great Tim Easton has also just released the title track from his forthcoming album (due August 27) and it sounds great.
5. "Plush" by Moxie Pocket
I, long ago, lost count of the many side-projects, collabs, etc. formed by various members of The Foresters. This recent single featured Evan and Hayden Nork.
6. "Only" by The Attractor Beams
A fantastic song by a short-lived Australian band from an album forthcoming on Nashville's Devil's Town Records. I was fortunate enough premiere this song on Ear to the Ground radio.
7. "For Louisiana" by Rod Gator
The artist formerly known as Rod Melancon with the first single under his new moniker - a tribute to his home state.
8. "Soul King (I Don't Wanna Be Alone)" by Jon Worthy
A new single from prolific Nashville songwriter Jon Worthy.
9. "Noughts and Vaccines" by Ben Arthur
Timely new single from E2TG favorite Ben Arthur.
10. "Amnesia" by Cold Equations
After releasing several single - Drew Kohl has released Ghost Town - the first album under the Cold Equations name. Great stuff.
11. "Naive" by Dolour
Marking the 20th anniversary of Dolour's debut album - Shane Tutmarc is set to release Origin Story - on which he rerecords favorite tracks from his first four albums.
12. "HALLOWEEN" by FŪÑ ŻØÑË®
This is either the second or third song we have featured from this Kansas City based band. Great stuff.
13. "Dwell" by Falcon Ranchero
Next up, we have the most recent single from Nashville's Falcon Ranchero. I played this song recently on the radio.
14. "Make Your Teeth Meet In" by Stomacher
We close out this segment of music with two songs from long-time E2TG faves. First up, we have a track from a 2009/2010 EP from this San Francisco band that just now found its way onto Spotify. Stomacher was among the first bands we featured on E2TG.
15. "Nothing Like Us" by aBIRD
And we close things out with a new single from aBIRD - the electronic music project of Adam Bird - who we first met back in 2012 with his band Those Mockingbirds. That earlier band ended up being out gateway into a lot of great music from the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area. This newer project is musically very different, but I dig it.
