1. "Speed Limit" by Tim Easton
First up, a new single from E2TG and East Nashville favorite Tim Easton - a real deal troubadour.
2. "The Ice Machine" by Elijah Ocean
Born Blue is out now - it is the new album from recent Nashville transplant Elijah Ocean.
3. "Baddest Bitch" by The Problem With Kids Today
The third single from Connecticut trio TPWKT is out now. Check it out!
4. "City Is Burning" by Strange Majik
Strange Majik - aka David Patillo is a long-running E2TG favorite. His music has always represented a unique and exciting take on authentically American music. Whether it is the blues rock of his band The Dead-Exs or the more funky/soulful sounds of his most recent solo work - Strange Majik takes familiar sounding music and makes it uniquely his own. Always danceable but deep and meaningful songs.
5. "True Is Beautiful" by Raveis Kole
The bicoastal, multi-genre duo are back in the Playlist with their latest single.
6. "Railton Ruckus - Original Mix" by Rude Audio
E2TG faves Rude Audio return to the Playlist with their new extended single.
7. "Music for Typewriter" by Meilir
Welsh singer-songwriter Meilir is back with a new album, In Tune, and this is a featured track from the album.
8. "Hot Damn" by The Star Prairie Project
Next, we have the lead track from the brand new album by this Wisconsin based project of songwriter Nolen R. Chew, Jr. who collaborates with musicians from around the world for this project.
9. "It's Fucked Up" by Gregory Dwane (feat. Amy Ray)
NYC singer-songwriter has recently worked as a producer for Indigo Girl - Amy Ray, and he has Ray guesting on this first single from his forthcoming debut album. I probably won't be playing this on the radio - but hopefully some of the rest of the album will fit for that.
10. "Best Days" by Power of Dreams
Next up, we have the new single from long-running Irish band Power of Dreams - which features Craig Walker - who we have featured recently in his other project. The band returned from a hiatus recently with the song Auslander. The album, Auslander, was recorded in several different locations around the world
11. "Sandra" by Chris Robley
Next up, we have the new single from the singer-songwriter based in Maine - the song is about the murder of Sandra Bland - told from the perspective of Bland's mother giving her "The Talk". A beautiful and powerful song.
12. "Border Syndrome" by Jamila & The Other Heroes
And, we close this segment of music with a new single from a band that formed in Berlin in 2016. The song finds lead singer Jamila Al-Yousef embracing her Palestinian roots on this politically charged new single. An incredible way to close us out for the week.
