Some highly anticipated, high profile (at least in the E2TG world - I don't know much about the other worlds) releases this week. As Darrin Bradbury approaches his 100th time being tagged on E2TG.

1. "Field Notes from a College Town" by Darrin Bradbury
It is release day for the 2nd release by Darrin Bradbury on ANTI- Records. E2TG is even more excited that we would already be because this album features E2TG Band of the Year Ryan Sobb & the Dead Mall supporting two-time E2TG Artist of the Year Darrin Bradbury. Run, don't walk, to get this album.
2. "Hungover Eyes" by Adrian + Meredith
It is also release day for the long-awaited new album from E2TG favorites Adrian + Meredith. The supporting players on this album reads like a who's who of some of my favorite musicians and people. I listened to the album on vinyl last night when I got home from work, and it sounds fantastic. Congrats kids!
3. "Tricks of the Trade" by Malcolm Holcombe
A new album from the one and only Malcolm Holcombe is always a cause for celebration. Holcombe is among a relatively small number of songwriters that I consider true original masters of the craft. The late, great David Onley was on, and Holcombe - a friend of Onley - it definitely one too. Great words, an original and unique voice, and emotional depth and honesty are required to fit in this category.
4. "Purple Rose and the Black Balloon - Radio Edit" by Lady Couch
E2TG love Lady Couch. And DJubilee is a sucker for the words Radio Edit.
5. "Molly Malone" by Georg Nielsen
Our Swedish friend takes on an Irish traditional song.
6. "The Horses and the Hounds" by James McMurtry
James McMurtry is an incredible songwriter. I was fortunate enough to cover one of his shows when I wrote for No Depression and he is a master showman who somehow managed to make it to the merch table before I even filed out of the venue. Excited for the new album.
7. "Mood Swings" by Andy Peake
Next up, we have the title track from the debut album by veteran musician Andy Peake which features an incredible collection of support players. A fun trip through the jazz/blues inspired roots world.
8. "Someday" by The Barefoot Movement
Next up, we have the first single from the forthcoming Pressing Onward album by E2TG faves The Barefoot Movement.
9. "Down With My Ship" by Brother Earl and the Cousins
Next, we have the title track from the debut EP from this band from LA. Great song.
10. "The Way is Already Made" by Elder Jack Ward
Via Bruce Watson's Bible & Tire Records has just released the debut solo album by 83 year old Memphis Gospel singer-songwriter Elder Jack Ward - who was born in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. The album was produced by Watson and guitarist Will Sexton and features some great guest musicians. This song features Elizabeth King who we recently featured when she put out her own solo debut full-length album. Bruce Watson is doing important and needed work.
11. "Mindful Maze" by Milquetoast and Co.
Next up, we have the new single from this six-piece band based in Denver.
12. "Rivers & Streams" by Matthew James Adkins
Next up, we have the new single from Michigan based singer-songwriter Matthew James Adkins from the forthcoming Stoned on My Own album due out September 17.
13. "Lost Dog" by Cindy
And, we close out this initial segment of music with the new single from the forthcoming third album, 1:2, by this Bay Area band. The album will be out October 1 digitally and November 1 on vinyl.
