22. "Misunderstanding" by Creux Lies
First up today, we have the recent single from the Sacramento based dark pop/alt rock band. It is the first taste of their new album Goodbye Divine - which is due out this autumn.
23. "All My Faith" by The Nautical Theme
From the new EP Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed - by the Dayton, Ohio based duo. Great stuff.
24. "November Birthday" by Lightning Love
Lightning Love are an indie-pop band based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. They formed in 2007, and their debut album just got the reissue treatment thanks to Lost in Ohio Records. Today, we have the brief, instrumental title track to mark the reissue.
25. "Never Found a Way to Tame the Blues" by Jon Shain & FJ Ventre
We close out this week's shuffle with the title track from the recent album by North Carolina based and award-winning blues artist Jon Shain and his long time collaborator FJ Ventre. A wonderful song to close us out for the week.

Right off, we have a track from a June 2020 release from this Austin based singer-songwriter - whose praises have been sung by Jon Dee Graham and Slaid Cleaves.
"Because I Was Blind" by The Chickenbackers (from Yeh, Right Yeah! - 2021)
Next, we have a track from an April 2021 rerelease of 2019 album previously only available on vinyl and download. The Chickenbackers are based in Madrid and have a great Merseybeat sound that I dig.
"Whip Jamboree" by The Kings Pond Shantymen (from Hold Your Course - 2020)
We go back to April 2020 and our first encounter with this unique UK band who perform shanties and assorted seafaring and drinking songs.
"Going Home" by Tiny Fighter (from Going Home - 2020)
Next, we have the title track from the debut album by this Swedish/Australian indie-pop band who are based in Stockholm.
"Four Way Stop" by The 81's (from 2 Things & 118 Others - 2020)
And, we close with a track from the 3rd album from this project that includes words written by Tom Sterling and music written by Nashville's own Tim Carroll. Carroll sings and plays guitar on the album with Cameron Carrus on bass and Marco Giovino on drums. The album also features Addi McDaniel on vocals and De Marco Johnson on keyboard.
