Tuesday Morning Shuffle

"The End of the World Is Old News" by BIRTH (from Almost Never - 2019)
First up, we have a track from this avant-garde electronic jazz band from Cleveland.  The great Jack Silverman turned me on to BIRTH - and invited me to a house show to see them which I sadly was unable to swing, but I did pick up the album which is fantastic.
"Full Moon Shining Down" by Adam Carroll (from Live at Flipnotics - 2010)
Next up, we have a track from the second live album by Texas songwriting great Adam Carroll.  From the pre-song dialogue, it appears he was playing a guitar bought for a 3 1/2 year old.
"I Will Survive" by Tom Schreck (from Mixed Shapes (Cover Songs) - 2020)
The Nashville Outsider doing his cover of the 1978 Gloria Gaynor hit written by
Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris.  No video of this song, so I found an old video of Scheck covering R.E.M.
"Cheap Drunk" by The Royal Hounds (from A Whole Lot of Nothin' - 2021)
Next up, we have the opening track from the recently released new album from veteran Nashville band The Royal Hounds.
"Don't Walk Away" by Madisyn Whajne (from Save Out Hearts - 2020)
Next up, we have a track from the late 2020 debut album by First Nations indie-pop singer-songwriter Madisyn Whajne.
"Soul Driver" by Julie Christensen (from Soul Driver - 2000)
Going back over two decades to this solo album by E2TG favorite - the great Julie Christensen.
"Southeast Texas Trinity River Bottom Blues" by Zach Aaron (from Fill Dirt Wanted - 2020)
And, we close out today's shuffle with a great song from the early 2020 third album by Texas singer-songwriter Zach Aaron.
