So, this will be my last post of the week. With taking some time off and holidays in the coming weeks, I am probably going to put the Featured Friday Playlist on hold until the first of the year - when I will likely have a pretty big playlist to "catch up". In the meantime, I will continue posting shuffles whenever I am able, and I will begin working on some Christmas playlists and seeing what sense I can make out of this year for some year-end wrap up posts.

"Told Mara" by Sunbourne Rd. (from Manners Maketh Man - 2021)
First up, we return to this June 2021 release from the Italian indie rock band. This song was also included on an EP released in 2020.
"Evergreen Avenue" by Darryl Purpose (from Still the Birds - 2016)
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite 2016 releases by Colorado singer-songwriter Darryl Purpose. I just love his voice and his songs.
"Letter From My Father" by Brock Zeman (from Hey Tom - 2020)
A favorite singer-songwriter from his tribute album to another favorite songwriter. Canadian Brock Zeman from his tribute to Nashville singer-songwriter Tom House. I could not find Brock's version of this song, I have two videos: one of Zeman performing another Tom House song and one of House's original version of this song. Listen to them both and extrapolate (or just check out Hey Tom).
"Red Sun Rising" by Ronan Furlong (from Ataraxia - 2021)
Next up, the lead track and single from the latest album by Irish singer-songwriter Ronan Furlong.
"Drybones" by Manwolves (from Sleeping In - 2021)
Next up - from this summer - we have what I think may be our first listen to the eclectic five-piece band from Chicago. I really dig this tune.
"You Make Me Happy" by Cloud Eleven (from Pandora's Box - 2021)
Next up - from June - we have new collection from LA based Cloud Eleven. This is a collection of song scraps from many years previous - found on cassette tapes and finished and recorded during quarantine.
"The Swoop" by Danny Henry (from Danifest Destiny - 2019)
E2TG favorite Danny Henry invents a new dance craze from his long-awaited 2019 album Danifest Destiny. Henry is a Connecticut native who made the move to LA a few years ago (with a Nashville stop over for to play my birthday show that year). In LA, he seems to have found his groove - recording several singles in addition to completing this album - a performing and volunteering at the largest COVID testing site (later the largest COVID vaccine site) at Dodger Stadium and recording a song selected by the City of Los Angeles for a city-wide quarantine related art project.

And we close with a track from the eponymously titled EP from Nashvile by way of Detroit singer-songwriter Alicia Michilli.
