The latest from E2TG fave Mighty Joe Nolan - a spoken-word piece I played on last week's Greetings from Nashville. I could not find a video for this - so I included one for an earlier single from Nolan.

Going back to 2020 and this release from the classically trained alternative rock musician from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
"Where's Jane Bond?" by indifferentmonkey (from Naked White Noise - 2021)
A great recent song from the alternative/trip hop outfit from Lancaster England. Released around the same time as the latest James Bond movie. I played this on Ear to the Ground a few week's back.
"Act Naturally" by Tom Schreck (from Mixed Shapes (Cover Songs) - 2020
The shuffle has been loving some Tom Schreck lately, and I have no problem with that. His cover of the Johnny Russell penned song first recorded by Buck Owens in 1963 and most famously by The Beatles in 1965. I could not find a video of Schreck's version, so I included the Beatles and Buck Owens' versions and an earlier video of Schreck - you can watch all three and extrapolate what his version would be like - or you can check it out on Bandcamp HERE.
"We Share the Same Stars" by The Sea at Midnight (from The Sea At Midnight - 2020)
I "discover" a lot of great music thanks for some fabulous publicists - like Shauna at Shameless Promotions PR. Some like L.A. band The Sea at Midnight become favorites.
"Das Schlimmste" by Princess Century (from For Belarus - 2020)
Austian artist Maya Postepski (aka Princess Century) from a 2020 benefit compilation ot aid victims of repression and police violence in Belarus.
"Ellis Speaks with Prophets" by L.S. Underground (from The Grape Prophet (Deluxe Edition) - 2021)
From a reissue of the 1993 rock opera from the band formed in 1986 by Michael Knott.
"Georgia Peach" by Kristen Englenz (from ingenue - 2020)
And finally, we close with a great song from one of my favorite albums of 2020 by one of my favorite human beings on the planet. A great way to take us out today.
