1. "Swamp Sistas Cosmic Drifter (feat. E-Turn)" by Beth McKee
I was first introduced to Orlando, Florida based Beth McKee by Tim and Susan Lee back in 2018 when McKee's album Dreamwood Acres came out, and I have gotten to know about her remarkable past in music, and the wonderful work she does with her Swamp Sistas organization (which combines community service with supporting female musicians and songwriters. Her new single features Orlando area hip hop artist E-Turn. A great add to our Playlist.
2. "Paper Napkins" by Todd Farrell Jr.
Todd Farrell Jr. recently released Birds on Benches which features solo versions of songs he released with his band Todd Farrell and the Dirty Birds and Benchmarks. The album release came me an excuse to feature one of my all-time favorite Todd Farrell, Jr. songs "Paper Napkins". Farrell originally released the song solo before releasing it with his band Benchmarks. Now, it is back full-circle to this solo version.
3. "Getaway (feat. Dwan Bosman)" by Morgan Bosman
Next up, we have another great track from former Nashville and now Atlanta based singer and songwriter Morgan Bosman.
4. "Alabama is a Winging Road" by Jefferson Ross
Georgia based Jefferson Ross has been a favorite here at E2TG for several years. His new album Southern Currency is a good one, and it is great to have him back on E2TG.
5. "Don't Mess with my Heart" by Tim Gartland
Nashville based singer-songwriter and harmonica player Tim Gartland first caught our ears back in 2019 with his album Satisfied (his fourth). Now, he has released his 5th solo album with Truth - out today. Great stuff.
6. "Biggest Little Secret" by Amber Woodhouse x Wilderwater
Wilderwater is the recording project of Nashville musician Aaron Shafer-Haiss - who can often be found drumming around Nashville and across the country. Here he teams with Amber Woodhouse on this fantastic single.
7. "What've We Learned to Live With?" by Andrew Weiss and Friends
New York-based Andrew Weiss and Friends recently announced a new double album due out this June called Sunglasses & Ash. This is the first single released from that album.
8. "Metal Phase" by Good Grief
Up next, via Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records, we have a track from the debut album from this "slacker punk" trio from Liverpool.
9. "She's Cold" by The Bear & The Bison
Mark and Courtney Lennon (aka The Bear & The Bison) are based in Western NY state- having lived in L.A. previously. This is their first release from their forthcoming self-titled debut album.
10. "Intercom" by Rodney Cromwell
And we close out this segment of the playlist with a track from the just released Memory Box album by UK electronic artist Rodney Cromwell. We have previously featured a couple of the advance singles from this album.
