Breaking tradition again to post on my day off work. It is Friday and we have a brand new Featured Friday Playlist up on Spotify. This week's list is a little shorter than our previous lists, but it is packed full of great new and recent music. Check it out and please follow!

Featured Friday Playlist (Songs 1-4)

1. "Man in Mask" by Adam Kurtz

E2TG favorite Adam Kurtz has garnered a lot of attention for his timely, funny, and pointed parody of Johnny Cash's signature song, "Man in Black". E2TG supports the message wholeheartedly and the video is great.

2. "Immortal" by Laura Rabell

Nashville singer-songwriter Laura Rabell was among the performers I saw on my last night out before the lockdown. Her series Femme Noir managed to get a show in on the one night The 5 Spot opened after the tornado knocked out power and before they club decided to close to protect its customers and staff before the mandates came down. Now, she has released a new single which is a powerful statement of survival written after her cancer diagnosis.

3. "Only a Woman" by Marchelle Bradanini

Under the name Pony Boy, Marchelle Bradanini has been an E2TG favorite for a very long time - since our earliest days - even before she became a part-time Nashville resident. She just released her first album under her own name, and we have the title track in this week's playlist. Bradanini is one of the co-founders of Cosmic Thug Records along with Adam Landry and Justin Collins.

4. "Put a Hat On" by Nicole Boggs & the Reel

I was admittedly late to the Nicole Boggs & the Reel partty, but I am glad I jumped on board in time for this latest batch of music. We premiered "Money" - the first single from their EP None of Your Business back in March. That EP is out today, and we have a track from it in this week's playlist.
