I spent part of last night with Tom Mason who has written his share of shanties in his time, and I was thinking about this UK band. And this song came up in the shuffle today.

Next up, we have a track from the 2020 release by Kerrville winner Justin Farren who I met at the end of 2019.
"Loose Connections" by Summer Sleeves (from In The Throes of Woes - 2021)
Next up, from this past spring, we have a track from the debut release by Seattle-based artist Jeremy Charbonneau - recording as Summer Sleeves. Charbonneau is a veteran of the Seattle music scene.
"Whirlpool" by The Luckies (from East of Eden - 2019)
Next up - going back a couple of years, we have a track from the 2019 release by this Montreal-based Americana band.
"Strange Stars" by Pennies by the Pound (from Heat Death of the Universe - 2021)
Pennies by the Pound are a prog rock/psychedelic band from Finland. This is from their album released back in May of this year.
"Young Love" by OGD (from The Big Game - 2020)
This is a track from the debut release by this New York City based power trio featuring Derek Olivero (guitars, lead vocals), Bobby Gavin (drums), and Dave De Ranieri (bass). The album was produced by legendary drummer Jerry Marotta. The physical release featured a 20 page booklet of art by Hugh Syme (who also designed the cover.
"Master of the Sea" by Jack Delamater (from Wide Asleep EP - 2021)
The shuffle began with the sea and ends the same way via this track from the January 1 2021 release from Northampton, Massachusetts based bedroom pop singer-songwriter Jack Delamater.
