Featured Friday Playlist recap (part 1) (songs 1-10):

1. "Even in the Light" by Griffin Winton

A new single from Nashville-based singer-songwriter Griffin Winton (The Big Dumb). It is kind of bluesy and really good. 

2. "DOA" by Adrian + Meredith

 A new single from Nashville band Adrian + Meredith - which I presume is from their forthcoming Bad for Business album - which is due out soon and which features an all-star East Nashville band backing the titular Adrian and Meredith. 

3. "Sorry You're Sick" by Nathan Kalish

More new Nashville music - this from a favorite that I really got into over the last year or so - Nathan Kalish. 

4. "Chabliss" by The Danbury Lie

Long time E2TG favorite The Danbury Lie has a new three song single called Lie Jazz Duo - with some vino-inspired song titles. Cool stuff. 

5. "Call Me A Cab" by Ryan Sobb and the Dead Mall

A favorite from the killer live set I caught last week - and another track from the recent Carnival Shapes release. Seriously, get to know this band. 

6. "Real Revolution" by Tim Easton

Long-time East Nashville favorite  Tim Easton with a recent single and a reminder that progress sometimes needs real action to push it along. 

7. "Midnight Promises" by Strange Majik

New York singer-songwriter and another long-time E2TG favorite Strange Majik has a new album called Strange Majik and the Righteous Wrongs - this is a wonderfully sultry track from that album. 

8. "The Beauty, The Sound" by Ben Arthur

Yet another NYC resident and long-time E2TG favorite - Ben Arthur continues his string of fantastic singles. 

9. "Human Eyes" by Livingmore

LA band Livingmore have a new single. The band features Spencer Livingston who we have been writing about from the very beginning of E2TG. This band also featuring his partner Alex Moore has been making music together for several years. 

10. "Chickenhawk" by Rod Gator 

And finally, we have the most recent single from the artist formerly known as Rod Melancon. An outspoken single from the Louisiana native now based in Austin.
