Okay - false alarm. I'm still on my old phone for at least one more day. I did get my new phone, and I'm excited about it, but it was not quite ready to go this morning. My old phone is not doing well, but hopefully it will last long enough....
I'm just going to jump right into the Featured Friday shuffle - we have all sorts of things today: a bamboo harvester, a wolf, space pants, pistols, an inflatable duck, and a row boat and more...
"goodbye (intro)" by Ugggy
First off we have the confusingly titled final track from STŒND ALŒN (uncollected thots) - the May release from Ugggy of Valued Customer. He is based in Toronto.
"Bamboo Harvester" by The Foresters

David Patillo (aka Strange Majik) took part in a New York Dolls tribute in NYC earlier this past weekend that featured that featured Sylvain Sylvain, Lenny Kaye, and more. This is a track from Deep in the Shadows - his second release of 2017 which reflects his reaction to the troubling times in which we live. Strange Majik is based in New York City.
"I'd Do Anything" by Boris Garcia

"What am I Gonna Do With My New Pair of Pants (in Space)" by Discount Ravioli
From The Baby Arm Sessions - a song about a new pair of pants (in space) that tackles the tough issues like - can you buy pants in space, are their streets in space, what do you do when you're recording and the battery on your recorder starts to fail, and more... Discount Ravioli are from Connecticut, and they like to record on the night of the third of July into the early morning hours of the fourth of July.
"Let's Try Pistols" by Ugggy
More Ugggy - this from the April release The Harvest Beet Tape. Like I said before, Ugggy is from Toronto, and he is rad as shit.
"Disintegration of Expectations" by Gloom Balloon
Next we have an awesome track from Drying the Eyes of the Goddess of Gloom, Underneath the Stars and the Moon - man, I love the variety of music I get to feature. Gloom Balloon are from Des Moines, Iowa.
"Inflatable Duck" by Jake La Botz
A fun song from Sunnyside by actor and singer-songwriter Jake La Botz. La Botz is currently based in Nashville.

More gorgeous three part harmonies from the self-titled album by Applewood Road. Applewood Road features three female artists who do awesome stuff on their own. And we close things out with another track from extraordinary cello player Christopher Bell. This is a track from his 2016 release Rust. Bell is based in Illinois.
