All of this happened a long time ago when the world was a very different place. Of course, none of us knew that at the time.

SAVE THE DATE!!!!! Thursday, November 15, 2018 - We have a pretty cool event in the works. More to come!
Now, it is Monday - a very wet and gloomy commute this morning, but some awesome tunes to get me through. Let's shuffle!
"The Way" by J. Marco
We start things off with a track from Days of Surrender by J. Marco. This is his most recent album (2017). We first caught up with him on his release Myth. J. Marco has a more recent single which we will be getting to soon.
"Chief Joseph's Last Dream" by Jason Ringenberg
Next up, we return to Jason Ringenberg's compilation, Best Track and Sidetracks. I would put this among the best tracks. It was originally released on his 2004 album Empire Builders. Fats Kaplin and Kristi Rose, Steve Ebe (Long Players, Human Radio), and more all appear on the album.
"Death Will Not Divide Us" by David Olney
Next, we have another track from David Olney's latest album This Side or The Other. Our second song in a row to deal with death - perfect for the gloom over the city as I drove in. David Olney may just be part of that November 15 date I asked you to save.
"She Used to Love Me a Lot" by Johnny Cash
Next up, we have Johnny Cash from the posthumously released Out Among the Stars. The album was recorded around 1984, but not released until 2014. The album was produced by Billy Sherrill. This song was first released by David Allen Coe in 1984. It was written by Dennis Morgan, Charles Quillen, and Kye Fleming.
"Heart Like an Ocean" by Josh Gray
Nashville singer-songwriter Josh Gray has just three days to go on his Kickstarter for his next album Songs of the Highway. so it seems appropriate that we have a track from his previously release - the self-titled EP released in 2015. Click the link about to check out some of the cool rewards he has lined up.
"Smile at Me Again" by Kris Kristofferson
Next up, we have the one and only Kris Kristofferson - this is a 2016 release of a 1972 recording from RCA Studios. The song, written by Kristofferson and Stephen Bruton. This was previously released in 2013 on a release called Let the Music Play.
"Run Through the Jungle" by Sarah Potenza
Next up, we have former Voice contestant and Nashville singer/songwriter Sarah Potenza with her take on the Creedence Clearwater Revival song. This is from her album, Monster which came out in 2016.
"In the Time" by Sergio Webb
"The Other Side of This Life" by Sergio Webb
Next up, we have a pair of songs from Sergio Webb's album Bolivar Blues. He latest album is called Los Cuates. Bolivar Blues is from 2009. The first song is a Sergio original, the second is a cover of a song written by Fred Neil.
"Fist Fight" by Tayls
And, we close the shuffle with a 2018 single from Nashville psyche pop/indie rock/psyche folk band Tayls. Led by Taylor Cole. This is our first listen to Tayls on E2TG, and I'm digging it. More to come, I am sure.
